Palin bills state for nights at home, kids’ travel

ANCHORAGE – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a “per diem” allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business.

The governor also has charged the state for travel expenses to take her children on official out-of-town missions. And her husband, Todd, has billed the state for expenses and a daily allowance for trips he makes on official business for his wife.

Palin, who earns $125,000 a year, claimed and received $16,951 as her allowance, which officials say was permitted because her official “duty station” is Juneau, according to an analysis of her travel documents by The Washington Post.

FOUR MORE YEARS..FOUR MORE YEARS…..

This woman is a serious piece of work. She supported the bridge project, requested earmarks, put her high school pals into high paying jobs they weren’t qualified for, and is now trying to dodge or delay the inquiry into her “questionable” firing a public safety official (supposedly over BUDGET concerns!!).

She is an unqualified incompetent dolt who is good at reading from a teleprompter.

Darren, I wish I had a counter argument to play devil’s advocate, but the facts are the facts, this woman is nothing more than a very poor imitation of a half competent Manchurian Candidate. She needs to get back up to Half-Canada and resolve the rape-fest that is going on there that is making Alaska the rape capital of America.
